URBNSURF Park, Australia’s first surf park has opened in Melbourne and is a great place to dip your toes into the water and learn how to surf during a beginner lesson. Using state of the art technology, the Melbourne surf park gives riders the chance to ride at least 10-12 gentle whitewater waves during a two-hour surf lesson for beginners.

The surf park offers a safe sanctuary where you can learn the basics and get up on a board riding your first wave thanks to expert tuition from the coaching staff. Included in the two-hour beginner’s surf lesson is a surfboard and wet suit hire plus an all-day spectator pass so you can make use of the park amenities such as the hot tubs, change rooms, lockers and landscaped areas.

Additional Information
  • Participants must sign a waiver declaring they are medically and physically fit to undertake a surfing experience
  • First time visitors must arrive at the Surf Academy 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to watch a safety video
  • Please bring swimwear and a towel.
Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellations up to five days prior to the booking date and time, participants will receive a voucher for the total booking amount to be used at Urbnsurf directly
  • Cancellations within five days of the booking date and time, participants will receive a voucher for 50% of the total booking amount to be used at Urbnsurf directly
  • No refund or vouchers will be provided for any cancellations or amendments made within 24 hours of the activity date, no-shows and late arrivals

Everyone was so helpful on arrival, amazing experience!!

I had an amazing experience yesterday at URBNSURF. The instructors were great and helped so much with safety, technique and form. Really great place to learn. We had a big group but it was run so well that everyone got a fair turn and they were able help everyone out.
